Get into eggmining with an Imperial entrepreneur. Warning

A means of Mark and Recall will come very handy here, as the egg mines you need to visit are usually out of the way.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Maphix Ovimus in Hlan Oek's Morning Sun Cornerclub about starting an eggmine and Ushudartus.
2. Convince Varinisi Onosi to sell Ushudartus (requires 80+ disposition, 650 gold).
3. Return to Maphix (rewards 650 gold if you paid for the mine yourself, 150 gold on top, The Buying Game).
4. Meet Maphix at Ushudartus and talk to him about kwama workers.
5. Visit operational egg mines to obtain three kwama workers (usually requires 70+ disposition, see Notes).
6. Return to Maphix and ask him about nix-hounds.
7. Handle the intrusion (reward varies depending on if Tends-the-Eggs survives).
8. Talk to Maphix about kwama workers for 200 gold and 1x Flin.
9. Talk to Maphix about starting an eggmine and buy a kwama warrior.
10. Speak to any Dark Elf with the Miner class (not in Ushudartus) about buy a kwama warrior.
11. Return to Maphix and ask him about attacked the queen.
12. Ask an apothecary or alchemist service about kwama pheromones and obtain some.
13. Bring the Kwama Pheromones to Maphix for 50 gold.
14. Talk to Maphix once more about starting an eggmine for a Ushudartus Stock Certificate.
15. (Optional) Return to Maphix each week and ask for dividends.

Notes

• Maphix can supply the 650 gold to buy the mine in the event that you lack it.
• It is not possible to save the miner Roert during the nix-hound attack, as his health is set to 0 as soon as it begins.
• Maphix will give you 500 gold towards the kwama warrior purchase.
• Kwama Pheromones are only added to the inventory of an alchemist/apothecary merchant if you ask them about the kwama pheromones topic.

39	Finishes quest	Maphix was upset that I had killed Varinisi and refused to reward me.
40		Maphix rewarded me for acquiring the cave. He offered me to meet him at Ushudartus for further work.
50	Finishes quest	I declined to help Maphix find kwama workers.
60		Maphix Ovimus wants me to find him three kwama workers to tend to the newly hatched queen. He suggested convincing other eggmines to part with theirs.
61		Ranith Zuldassur suggested I use a leash to capture the kwama workers Maphix needs.
70		Maphix paid me for finding him three kwama workers.
80		After the nix-hound attack, Maphix wants a kwama warrior to defend the mine.
90	Finishes quest	I refused to help Maphix find a kwama warrior.
100		I was told to speak to the owners of nearby eggmines to buy a kwama warrior to defend the mine from further nix-hound attacks.
120	Finishes quest	Maphix Ovimus said the mine is now fully operational and gave me the mine's first stock certificate.
200	Finishes quest	Maphix' kwama queen is dead.
210	Finishes quest	Maphix Ovimus is dead.

10		When I returned to the mine, I found a dead nix-hound and signs of a struggle.
20		Maphix told me the eggmine was attacked by nix-hounds in my absence. The miners managed to drive them towards the upper level, away from the queen. I was asked to make sure the miners are okay and to kill any suriving nix-hounds.
30		All the remaining nix-hounds are dead.
40		Maphix thanked me for taking care of the nix-hounds.

10		Maphix wants me to ask egg miners if there is any harm in mixing nests.
20		Apparently, kwama pheromones are required to mix kwama from different nests. These pheromones can be prepared by apothecaries and alchemists.
25		I was refused to sell a kwama warrior because mixing nests is dangerous even with kwama pheromones.
30		Maphix Ovimus asked me to acquire a bottle of kwama pheromones.
35		When I returned to the eggmine, the kwama workers had attacked the queen. Maphix wants me to buy him a bottle of kwama pheromones so it won't happen again.
40		I brought Maphix a bottle of kwama pheromones.
