Raleth Hlasur

Raleth Hlasur is a Dark Elf master-at-arms who owns a apartment in Almas Thirr, where he can be found. He has earned the ire of his neighbor, the stallholder Llandora Falavel, for his loud and disruptive snoring. She is prepared to go to extreme lengths to shut him up, and will ask you to assist, beginning the quest Silent Night to have Raleth poisoned with a special potion of silence.

There are two ways the quest can go. If you are feeling kind, you can forewarn Raleth of Llandora's plot, and he will avoid drinking the potion when she gives it to him:

"Guess what? She did try to poison my drink! And she would have made it, if not for your heads-up. Looks like it was something to shut me up, and no, it wouldn't just have been the snoring, she's admitted that much. Thanks once again, %PCClass. You've deserved a reward; if I only had anything to offer... Here, I've got these. I've heard you can make water-walking potions out of these, or ones to swim faster, if you're into it. Sorry I don't have more -- I'm not making half her money."

Alternatively, if Llandora is successful in her attempt, Raleth will lose the ability to snore or even speak, and will spend the rest of his days living in mute terror of what has happened to him.
