Alju-Deekus is an Argonian barrister and former slave who can be found in the living quarters in the offices of Marsh & Ellerian in Old Ebonheart. During his escape from a plantation on the Hlaalu side of the Thirr River, he struck out the eye of his overseer, Mols Hlarsis. Mols has since followed Alju-Deekus to Old Ebonheart to seek redress through Imperial law - and through paid mercenaries, such as yourself, if that fails.
He wears a common shirt and a pair of common pants.
Like all Argonians, he is immune to poison, has a resistance to disease, and can breathe underwater, but otherwise knows no spells.

Dialogue[edit]
Hlarsis v Alju-Deekus[edit]
- Alju-Deekus:
- "Yes, that's me. What can I do for you?"
- Mols Hlarsis has sent me here to kill you.:
- "Wait! Please reconsider what you are about to do! May I ask you why you are blindly following his orders? I don't know what he told you but I have done nothing wrong. All I want is my freedom. Hlarsis confessed to attempted murder by trying to hire you. If you go to the Justice Minister in the Ebon Tower Curia and tell her about his confession, I'm sure she will be able to give you a bigger reward than what a Hlaalu retainer has. How does that sound? I can vouch as a witness for his confession."
- Yes, that sounds better for the both of us.:
- "Thank you! You won't regret this, I swear!"
-
-
- Sorry, no deal. Prepare to die.:
- "I'm not going down without a fight!" (He attacks you)
-
- "Did you tell the Ministry of Justice about what Hlarsis told you?"
- Sorry, I changed my mind.:
- "I'm not going down without a fight!" (He attacks you)
-
- Not yet.:
- "I see. Better you tell sooner rather than later."
If you convinced Mols Hlarsis to give up:
- "Hlarsis has finally given up? I can tell from your voice what you say is true. I cannot give you anything but I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart." (Disposition up to 100)
- "Thank you again."
If Mols Hlarsis has been arrested:
- "I heard Hlarsis was arrested recently. I feel a lot safer now."
If Mols Hlarsis is dead:
- "I did not wish for the death of my former master, though it eases my mind knowing he can no longer hunt me down."
