Skyrim Mod:Bards College Expansion/Chant

Chants are a new mechanic introduced in the quest Of Songs and Shouts. It consists in a series of three different Dragon Shouts, uttered in quick succession, using the Cadence Rod in between each Shout to reset the cooldown and automatically select the next Shout in sequence. Each Shout can be used with one, two, or all three words of power, and it also does not matter whether they are resonating or not.

The first Chant learned is the Chant of Ravaging, which is comprised of Unrelenting Force, Whirlwind Sprint, and Earthsong, as those are the three Shouts that the player is guaranteed to know at this point in the story. Other Chants can be learned from codices that appear in the Sanctuary as the player learns additional Shouts. Each chant learned results in the player obtaining a Lesser Power that, when used, selects the corresponding Chant for use with the Cadence Rod.

In addition, the player can create up to three custom Chants, which will be referred to as "Ah", "Bah", and "Krah".
