Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Jo'Taash about give a performance and Warlord Wortgog.
2. Wearing your outfit, speak to Filhallil.
3. Defeat Warlord Wortgog in the Abecette's Fight Pit.
4. Return to Filhallil.

Detailed Walkthrough

After your defeat of the despised King Thousand Hands, Jo'Taash has a much more popular opponent for you to fight - one Warlord Wortgog. He does however warn you that Wortgog represents a politically sensitive topic, and so that you should be careful what you say in the arena.

As with prior fights, don your character's headgear and speak to Filhallil to set things up. Then go down into the pit and begin the fight. Like you, Warlord Wortgog is so far undefeated. It's time to change that, but while not heavily armored, the Orc bears an enchanted axe called Wortgog's Pride which constantly fortifies his Unarmored skill. He is in addition a very fast combatant, capable of closing the distance between you in a mere moment.

Once you've reduced Wortgog's health down to 20% of his 212 total, Jo'Taash will call an end to the fight, and ask for your reaction. If you are the Pilgrim or the Brigand, choosing the option to insult Orcs will knock -20 points off of Warlord Wortgog's disposition, and 250 (if the Brigand) to 500 gold (if the Pilgrim) off your final reward. It will also prevent you gaining +1 Reputation for winning the fight.

Return to Filhallil once the battle is over to claim your reward. You can still take the money on a loss, but will be locked out of future fights.

Notes

• This quest cannot be undertaken while the Cyrodiil Thieves Guild quest The Fix is In is active.
