Change name to "Provision Ingredients" or Split?[edit]
Since this page contains ingredients for both food and brew, wouldn't it be better to rename this "Provision Ingredients", matching the skill? I suppose we could also split the pages into "Food Ingredients" and "Brew Ingredients" if that would be better. -Thunderforge (talk) 22:32, 12 March 2014 (GMT)
- I'd say "Provisioning Ingredients" if anything. Possibly keep both but have one redirect to the other. (Food is just easier to type, and thus a more likely search target.) I already created a disambig at ON:Ingredients to avoid confusion with ON:Alchemy Ingredients (which has its own potential conflicts with ON:Reagents - I kept all the alchemy stuff on one page because having a whole page for just the Solvents would be a bit of a waste.) I don't think we need to separate Food and Drink ingredients onto separate pages. They're both used in the same way, affected by the same skills, etc. That would lead to all kinds of redundancy. Sub-page redirects could handle that just fine. — TheRealLurlock (talk) 02:11, 13 March 2014 (GMT)
- The fact that they pretty much work the same way (and now that I think about it, are also handled at the same crafting station) means that putting them on the same page does make more sense, especially since we don't have an extraordinary content from it. So I'd be in favor of "Provisioning Ingredients" with redirects from the other terms. -Thunderforge (talk) 14:42, 13 March 2014 (GMT)
- Does the lack of further discussion mean that we're all happy with changing to "Provisioning Ingredients"? I'd be happy to do it and make changes to the linking pages (e.g. Online:Items). -Thunderforge (talk) 20:16, 21 March 2014 (GMT)
- Go ahead. There's more than just that though: Special:WhatLinksHere/Online:Food_Ingredients. Okay, not much more, but make sure you get those too. — TheRealLurlock (talk) 20:50, 21 March 2014 (GMT)

Regional variations[edit]
Level 1/2/3 recipes (ingredients to a lesser extent) seem to be available only in one region. For instance, anything that requires a "Plump ..." ingredient is found only in Eb-Pact areas, and so on...What would be the best way to tag that? --Fireflies76 (talk) 08:33, 9 May 2014 (GMT)
- Since it only applies to the items in the first column of the main tables on the page, another column (maybe right after the item) with the alliance icon in it would be sufficient (leaving it blank for levels above 3). Another approach would be a 3 column table in a new section with the items specific to each alliance. --Swordmage (talk) 02:47, 7 July 2014 (GMT)
Still incomplete?[edit]
This seems to be about done now (pending the provisioning redesign). --Swordmage (talk) 02:25, 6 October 2014 (GMT)
