Take control of dormant Dwarven spiders to collect the power nodes
The High Elf Neramo needs to acquire special Dwarven power nodes and a master scepter in order to conduct his experiment. He asked for my help retrieving them.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Enter the Scraps.
  2. Talk to Neramo and search scrap heaps for intact Dwarven Spiders.
  3. Collect Dwarven Power Nodes the spiders recover.
  4. Find the Master Scepter.
  5. Leave the ruins and give the items to Neramo.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Find the Master Scepter

Neramo needs a little bit of assistance. He's working on a Dwarven communication device called a miter. Neramo requires three Dwarven Power Nodes and a device called a Master Scepter to help him in his research.

The Master Scepter is located in the southwestern chamber. The Dwarven Power Nodes are located in the northeastern chamber, the southeastern chamber, and the chamber to the northeast of the southwestern chamber. Once you enter a room with a Dwarven Power Node, find a scrap heap and interact with it to cause an intact Dwarven Spider to pop out. Neramo will wave his control rod around and take control of the spider, then command it to climb up to the ceiling and dislodge the power node from its fixture. You need to do this with all three power nodes.

If you seek to grab all three nodes and the scepter in a straightforward path, head west from the first chamber to grab the scepter at the southern end of the southwestern room. From that room, enter the northern tunnel and take a right at the end of the hallway. This leads you to the room with the first power node. The scrap heap you'll find a spider in is located upstairs and to the south. To get to the second power node, head east and go down the stairs. This will bring you to the southeastern chamber. The scrap heap where you'll find a spider is located along the western wall. Once you have the node, head through the northeastern tunnel and find the node in the next chamber over. The scrap heap in this room is located upstairs and to the east.

Once you have all of Neramo's components, leave the delve and speak with him outside.

Notes[edit]

  • This quest was originally called The Scraps.

Bugs[edit]

  • There is a chance that the controlled spiders' pathing breaks on their way to the pipe, at which point they simply fade out and teleport into the pipes. This then results in the red explosion not going off, though the power nodes will still appear. ?

* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
