Unlike Zones and Subzones, which are divisions of the world based on gameplay, Regions divide the world into geographical and political areas. Many regions correspond directly with subzones, but subzones as a gameplay feature have become deprecated, and newer regions no longer follow the subzone format. Each region is contained entirely within the borders of a traditional province, and many regions have dolmens which share their name.
