The Dawn's Avenger Destrier is an upcoming mount. Its default name is "Boldheart".

Dawnwood Indrik[edit]

These magical creatures have a special relationship to Y'ffre the nature god, and seem to draw strength from the very bones of the earth beneath their hooves. It's a privilege for a mortal rider to be borne by such an enchanted beast.

The Dawnwood Indrik was obtained by evolving the Nascent Indrik mount. It was briefly seen being ridden by a player in the ESO Summerset Gameplay Trailer. It is no longer possible to evolve a Nascent Indrik into a Dawnwood Indrik as of the conclusion of the 2019 Jester's Festival. Its default name is "Sparkle".

Deadlands Guar[edit]

The blazing orange of its hide hints at both the origin and temperament of this guar mount. Though born from and shaped in the fiery Deadlands, you hold the power to temper it into a fierce but loyal mount.

Death Mask Sabre Cat[edit]

Most inhabitants of Skyrim hate and loathe necromancy, but those Nords who do stoop to raising the dead tend to go all in, wallowing in death and its symbols. It was no doubt such Nord necromancers who bred the skull-faced Death Mask Sabre Cats as mounts.

The Death Mask Sabre Cat was available in the Crown Store from October 11 to October 15, 2018. It is available as a Legendary-level reward in New Moon Crown Crates. Its default name is "Deathfang".

Doom Wolf[edit]

Bred for size and savagery from the fierce timber wolves of the southern Jerall Mountains, the Doom Wolf has been adopted as the mount of choice by the secretive and deadly Dark Brotherhood.

The Doom Wolf is a black wolf with glowing red eyes previously available in the Crown Store for 025002,500 Crowns from July 21 to July 25, 2016. Its default name is "Nightfur". It makes a distorted sound when howling.

A promotional code for the Doom Wolf was included with purchases of The Fall of the Dark Brotherhood story for The Elder Scrolls: Legends, although it only works for PC/Mac. As of March 8, 2019, it is no longer possible to get a Doom Wolf promo code from a Legends purchase.

Dragonfire Wolf[edit]

Ancient legends from the time of the Dragon Wars tell of Dragon Knights riding into battle mounted on colossal flaming wolves. Were they wolf mounts mystically imbued with Dragonfire? Flame Atronachs conjured in the form of wolves? No one knows.

Riders of these draugr bears find the dragonscale barding does an exemplary job. There's exactly as much jouncing as you'd expect riding hard on a skeletal ursine's back. Plus, the frost magic imbued within adds a frisson of chill to keep riders alert.

According to the notebooks of Corvus Direnni, the Frost Senche-Panther may actually be a form of atronach summoned from a plane known as the Fourth Sinus of Takubar. Why it remains in Tamriel where it willingly submits to the orders of mortals is unknown.

Dro-m'Athra Senche[edit]

The Senche-shaped dro-m'Athra are known to the Twilight Cantors as the sar-m'Athra, but everyone else just calls these eerie and uncanny mounts the Dro-m'Athra Senche.

The Dro-m'Athra Senche is a black senche with glowing blue eyes and streaks on its body. It was previously available from the Crown Store for 040004,000 Crowns from May 26 to May 31, 2016. It can also be found in Dwarven Crown Crates as a Legendary-level reward. Its default name is "Soul-Eater".

Druadach Mountain Bear[edit]

Originally tamed and bred as mounts by the ancient Grimfang Reach clan, these riding bears became popular among Nords who captured them in raids. Despite their inherent docility, these bears anger swiftly when threatened.

Dunecoat Senche-Serval[edit]

Originally found in the arid canyons of Northern Elsweyr, these striped beauties rarely submit to training, making cats that do extremely desirable. Just make sure to have plenty of toys on hand or you'll find your leather boots gnawed to pieces.

The Duo-Dynamo Dwarven Spider is an upcoming mount. It is the first multi-passenger mount available in the Elder Scrolls Online. It was previewed by the developers in the ESO Live Q3 DLC First Look and was disabled after public testing resulted in false account locks in Patch 6.1.0 and 6.2.0. It carries one driver and one passenger. Its default name is "Clatterclank".

Duskember Fox[edit]

A rare sight, these colorful foxes keep to the shadows in the wild. When trained to the saddle, they proudly display their glossy coats and fine saddlery. Their favorite food is snow berries, and they will do almost anything for their daily treat.

Duskfall Welwa[edit]

Using knowledge gained from the forbidden book Occaecium Beluaria, followers of Hermaeus Mora transformed a welwa into a multi-hued, darkly shimmering steed. He allows his most experienced agents in Tamriel to use them for overland tasks.

The Duskfall Welwa is a heavyweight mount. It is available as a Legendary-level reward in the Unfeathered Crown Crates. It can also be bought directly from the Crown Store for 00100100 Crown Gems Gems/036003,600 Seals of Endeavor Seals of Endeavor while the Unfeathered season is active. Its default name is "Night's Death".

Dwarven Bear[edit]

Scholar of the Dwemer Guylaine Marilie theorized that bear vamidiums were animunculi mounts reserved only for those Deep Elves of high rank or status. "Imagine a noble in full armor on a Dwarven Bear Mount," he wrote. "What could be more impressive?"

Dwarven Camel[edit]

Dwarven Camels are most often found among the ruins of the desert-dwelling Rourken clan of the Dwemer, who left northeast Tamriel and traveled west to found cities in the remote back-country of Hammerfell.

Dwarven Guar[edit]

Guar vamidiums, or Dwarven Guar Mounts, are most often associated with Dwemer sites in Morrowind—as might be expected, since that's where guar are most in use as pack and riding animals.

Dwarven Horse[edit]

The ancient Deep Elves made animunculi of many kinds, imitating nature with mechanical constructs. The Dwarven word for mount was "vamidium," but their equine automata are more commonly known as Dwarven Horses.

Dwarven Senche[edit]

Since nearly all Dwemer sites are in northeast Tamriel, where the only large feline is the sabre cat, scholars of Dwarven civilization have long wondered why they chose to make animunculi mounts that resemble the senche-tigers of the south. It's a mystery!

Dwarven Spider[edit]

Of all the Dwemer animunculi, the Dwarven Spider is perhaps the most familiar and iconic! This versatile construct comes in several variations, and it should come as no surprise that one of them is a vamidium, or mechanical mount. Clankin'!

The Dwarven Spider Mount was available for a limited time in the Crown Store for 030003,000 Crowns. It can rise up on its hind legs and turn on a red light. Its default name is "Skitters".

Dwarven War Horse[edit]

This loyal horse has been trained for warfare, and will stick with you through every kind of conflict. As a bonus, it comes outfitted in ancient Dwarven horse armor. Riding Skill does not affect this mount's appearance.

Dwarven Wolf[edit]

Dwarven Wolves, or Lupine Vamidiums, are most often seen in proximity to Dwemer ruins of northern and western Skyrim, where wolves are most common in the wild. Its loping gait is said to give the most comfortable ride of any mechanical mount.
