King Boar

King Boar, known as the Porcine Potentate and the tyrant King of Pork, is the regal Bristleback who has been conjured to fight in the Festival Arena during the Jester's Festival. Under the decree of Jester King Emeric, the pig must be killed, as according to Rozette the Rapscallion's quickly improvised story he stole the swine Princess from Jester King Jorunn is hogging her all to himself.

The real motivation to fight the boar is because the conjurers summoned him as a gag for the festival to earn money from audience ticket sales and for you to win prizes for slaying him; as he is not real, no animals are being harmed. When he is defeated, he will explode into a puff of smoke and blue flames. Rozette will provide you with real cuts of meat once, despite saying the king is nothing more than an illusory phantom.

Skills and Abilities

Gore

A very fast basic melee attack where King Boar hits you with its tusks, dealing moderate physical damage.

Uproot

King Boar buries one of its tusks into the ground and flings it forward, causing a tremor to rush at you, dealing moderate-high physical damage.

Grease Shake

King Boar shakes his body which sets a large greasy area under him and launches a rotten apple to a target which creates a smaller greasy area under them. Stepping in either areas makes you slip which knocks you down. You are then applied a 10 second snare (Greased Footing) and a 10 second damage done reduction effect (Greased Hands). The small areas disappear after some time but the larger areas take a very long time to disappear.

Summon Prince Boars

Under 90% Health, King boar periodically summons a Prince Boar to fight for him. King Boar doesn't attack while summoning.

Mudcrab Apples

Periodically during the fight, one of the Arena Handlers will fill their bucket with fermented mudcrab apples and call the King over to it. King Boar takes some time to see the basket of apples but when he sees it, he rushes there to eat the apples. If the King manages to eat the apples, he will regain 106,392 Health and becomes enraged, which makes him roar and glow red, as long as he glows red he deals more damage. You can grab the apples before King Boar gets to them, the bucket will be marked with a glowing red light. King Boar doesn't attack during the rushing/eating/roaring parts.
