Defeat Maligalig after placing the challenge banner in Veteran Coral Aerie.

Crustacean Cracker is awarded for defeating Maligalig in Veteran Coral Aerie after placing the challenge banner, which will enable Hardmode and make the fight more difficult:

• The enemies will be generally stronger.
• Whirlpool phase will feature Static Discharge, an increasing damage over time debuff that applies to players on the ground and needs to be cleansed in water (blue electric sparks coming off players that still have Static Discharge are the visual hint to it). The water itself will also deal increasing damage.
