The Ancestral Spirit is an Altmer spirit that appears in Tanzelwill, antagonizing Queen Ayrenn while she is praying, before it is cut down and removed by Battlereeve Urcelmo.

The spirit appears before the queen and insults her:

Ancestral Spirit: "Your ancestors disavow you, false one! The Veiled Queen is the rightful heir, and Norion shall end your reign."

Urcelmo then steps up to the spirit and slashes it with his sword, causing the spirit to disappear.
