Brina Cross Inn

The Brina Cross Inn is an inn north of Anvil (quest-related).

The publican, Christophe Marane, buys potions and food while only selling the latter. He also offers advanced Blunt training. The first floor contains the main reception area, consisting of a bar with an engraved counter and a dining room. Down a short set of steps next to the counter is a small room with an owned single bed where Christophe sleeps. The guest rooms are upstairs.

The room you can rent is the last on the right. It contains a lower-class single bed, a set of drawers, and a table. The other two rooms are hard-locked; the first room contains an owned single bed (which is quite interesting), a set of drawers, and a cupboard, while the second room contains an owned double bed, a chest, a set of drawers, a table, and a chair.

Notes[edit]

"Brina Cross" can be seen written south of "Sutch" and west of "Kvatch"
  • The bed in the first room upstairs has an attached script (BedDiseaseScript) that would cause you to have a 20% chance of catching the disease Yellow Tick if you slept in it. However, it is impossible for you to sleep in this bed since it is owned, while the script will not affect NPCs. The script therefore has no actual effect, unless you use the console to allow yourself to sleep in the bed.
  • The name "Brina Cross" possibly originated from the crossroads that would have existed had the city of Sutch been present in the final release of Oblivion; on a pre-release map of Cyrodiil, "Brina Cross" can be seen on the map next to the crossroads.
