Interactive Demo Bethesda CD

The Morrowind Interactive Demo refers to a press kit CD and video preview CD for Morrowind. The Bethesda video disk was included in copies of the game Magic & Mayhem: The Art of Magic,[1] another game by Bethesda Softworks. The press kit CDs were distributed to various gaming media outlets by Ubi Soft in UK/Europepotentially Australia as well in the leadup to Morrowind's release. The files on the Bethesda CD and the Ubi Soft CD contain similar content, but with entirely different program files and subsequently, differing pre-release media. The Ubi Soft press disk was packaged in a square tin case with an Elder Scroll-shaped keychain included inside. It's worth noting that a lot of the content on these press CDs, such as wallpapers, concept art, and loading screens, were available from different places, usually in lower quality than the Interactive Demo. The seven "Video Tour" clips were also notably available for download from the old elderscrolls.com site before and after Morrowind's release. While both CDs contain the seven clips of the "Video Tour" the Ubi Soft CD contains an additional Gamespot preview video with Greg Kasavin.
