The Ruined City: The Last Stand[edit]
The Last Stand is a location available in The Ruined City. It is unlocked after you've beaten the Mire Mechanica. After defeating the Treasure Hunters, you will get in possession of one of Sotha Sil's memory stars and replay the memory of his death by the hands of his friend Almalexia. It is the first memory star available, which are puzzles that can only be completed by one specific order of actions in-game. Once you complete it for the first time, you'll receive playsets of Brass Arquebus and Galyn the Shelterer.

- Pre-match:
- Sotha Sil: "This day has appeared in all my simulations. The end. My dear friend Almalexia has come to kill me. Now, everything depends on my calculations being correct. My machines need 22 minutes to seal the Chamber of Lorkhan. So that's how long I must live."
- During the match:
- Almalexia: "Your time has come, Sotha Sil! All these years you've looked down on me. Have you any last words?"
- Sotha Sil:

- Sotha Sil: "I have done it. I die, but what is death? A natural function. The chamber is sealed, the work begun. It will take approximately 207 years, but what is that? A rounding error."
- Sotha Sil: "The new Heart of Lorkhan will be completed. And it will power my city for all eternity."

Strategy[edit]
The following steps need to be completed in order to survive one turn and win the match.
Normal[edit]
You start with 12 magicka.
- Use Arrest to steal Doomcrag Vampire. This will give all your cards in the left lane Lethal.
- Use both of your Imperial Grunts to destroy the opponent's Barrow Stalker and Oldgate Warden.
- Summon Ash Servant in the left lane to destroy one of the Swamp Leviathans.
- Attack Almalexia with Riverhold Escort to move it to the right lane with its Pilfer effect.
End your turn to win.
Master[edit]
You start with 10 magicka.
- Use one Reverberating Strike on your own Nahagliiv and use Nahagliiv to destroy the now damaged opponent's Nahagliiv.
- Attack and destroy the unprotected Hist Speaker with you Dwarven Ballista. This will drop the opponent's max magicka below 7.
- Now the two Preserver of the Roots can be finished off with your remaining Reverberating Strikes.
- Attack Almalexia with both Riverhold Escorts to move them to the right lane with their Pilfer effect.
End your turn to win.
